How to create a customer review QR code
Paste your link
Copy the page you want customers to land on: your Google review link, your Trustpilot or Facebook reviews page, or a testimonial collection page. Paste it above and choose Generate QR code.
Customise the card
Add your business name and a short message, pick a colour for the code, and choose a counter card, business cards or an A4 poster.
Download, test and print
Download the code as a PNG or SVG, or print the card. Before printing a batch, scan it with your own phone and check it opens the right page.
Where to use your review QR code
- Invoices and receipts: add the PNG to your invoice template, so every customer gets the link.
- Tables and checkout counters: a counter card where people wait or pay, with the code at eye level.
- Business cards: print the business card sheet, or give the SVG to your printer.
- Packaging and deliveries: slip a card in with each order, or print the code on a sticker or thank-you note.
- Printed signs: an A4 poster in a window, waiting room or by the door.
As a rough guide, a code can be scanned from about ten times its width away. A 2 cm code on a business card works in the hand; a poster across a room needs a much bigger one.
Tips for getting more customer feedback
Make scanning easy
Put the code where people have a spare moment: at the till, on the table, on the receipt. Say what it's for (“Leave us a review”), keep it out of glare, and send people straight to the review form rather than your home page.
Ask at the right time
The best moment is just after a good experience: when you hand over the order, finish the appointment or say goodbye. A quick mention (“there's a code on the card if you've got a minute”) works far better than the code on its own. For messages to send afterwards, try the free testimonial request generator.
Keep the request neutral
Ask for honest feedback, not five stars, and ask everyone. Don't filter customers by whether they seem likely to leave a positive review, or send unhappy customers somewhere else first.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many codes you make or print.
Does the QR code expire?
No. The code holds your link itself, with no redirect through us, so it keeps working for as long as the link does. The flip side is that if your link ever changes, you'll need a new code.
Can I use it with Google reviews?
Yes. In your Google Business Profile, choose “Ask for reviews” (sometimes “Get more reviews”), copy the link it gives you and paste it above. Scanning the code then opens the review form for your business. Trustpilot, Facebook and other review sites work the same way.
Can I print it?
Yes. Choose a template and Print, then print at 100% (actual size) on A4 or US Letter, or choose Save as PDF to send to a print shop. For anything else, download the SVG, which stays sharp at any size.
Does it track scans?
No. It's a plain QR code, so scans go straight to your link and we never see them. If you need numbers, review sites usually show how many reviews you got, and this guide to asking covers ways to get more.
Do you store my link?
No. The code is drawn in your browser. The link, business name and message never leave your device.
